The bill entitled an Act to empower the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore, and the County Commissioners of
Washington county, to waive the liens acquired by them
respectively under a mortgage heretofore executed to the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore by the Western Mary-
land Rail Road Company, in trust, to indemnify the said
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, and the County Com-
missioners of Washington county, upon their endorsements
respectively upon the second mortgage bonds of said Com-
pany,
