Article 56, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Licenses," and re-enact the same with amendments,

Being upon a second reading,

Mr. Robb submitted the following amendment:

Section 6, line 5, strike out the words "one hundred" anc
insert the word, fifty ; in line 8, strike out the word "fifty"
and insert the words, twenty-five.

Which was rejected.

Mr. Conway submitted the following amendment:
Section 4, line 2, strike out the word "free."
Which was adopted.

Mr. Harden submitted the following amendment:

Section 4, line 2, strike out the words "except by order o
the Court."

Which was read.

The question being upon the adoption of the amendment
