The bill entitled an Act to protect the navigation of the
Patuxent river.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Coad, Dalrymple, Guy, Chapman and Deale.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to aid in the establishment of a
hospital in connection with the Washington University of
Baltimore, and to appropriate money for the same.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Ways and Means,

The bill entitled an Act to refund to Francis J. Henry,
Clerk of the Circuit Court for Dorchester county, a certain
sum of money erroneously paid into the Treasury.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Claims.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 155, of Article 3,
of Public Local Laws of Baltimore county, sub-title roads,
and to re-enact the same, with amendments.
