The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Chestnut Sum-
mit Avenue Company being upon its third reading,

On motion of Mr. Latrobe,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill made the order of the day for Tuesday, March 10.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 1, 37, 38, 39
and 42 of chapter 252, of the Laws of Maryland, passed Jan-
uary session, 1867. entitled an Act to repeal the 37th, 38th,
39th and 40th sections of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled "Licenses," and substitute in lieu thereof the fol-
lowing sections,

Was read a third time,

And rejected, for want of a Constitutional majority, by
yeas and nays as follows :
