The bill entitled an Act supplemental to an Act entitled
an Act to incorporate a Company to make a Turnpike Road
from Ellicott's City to Elysville, in Howard county,

Being upon a third reading,

Mr. Jones, (by unanimous consent,) submitted the follow-
ing amendment :

Section 5. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

The bill as amended was then read a third time and passed
