FOR JAMES T. EARLE.—Mr. Bond, of B. city—1. Whereupon, it appearing that the Hon. George Tickers ad received a majority of all the votes cast, (a majority of 1 the members elected to both Houses, being present ami oting,) the Speaker of the House of Delegates, as President the Joint Assembly, declared the Honorable George Vickers duly elected Senator of the United States, in place of the Hon. Philip Francis Thomas, who had been refused a at in that body, to which he had been elected for the term six years, from the 4th day of March, 1867.
