The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town of Vienna
in Dorchester county,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to provide for the liquidation and
settlement of claims for arming and equipping the Militia,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to alter and amend the Act of
January session, 1867, chapter 304, entitled an Act to in-
corporate the Central Maryland Rail Road Company, passed
on the 18th day of March, in the year 1867,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Maryland and
Southern Immigration Society,

Being upon a second reading,

Mr. Silver submitted the following amendments :

Section 2, line 4, add after the word "Act," the word,
they, or, strike out the words "them so as" and insert the
word "the."

Section 5, line 2, strike out the word "and," and insert
after the word "amend" the words " or repeal,"

Which were adopted.

The bill, as amended, was then read a second time and or-
dered to be engrossed for a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore City
Grain Elevator and Storage Company,

Being on a second reading,

On motion of Mr. Montague,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and
The bill made the order of the day for Monday, March 9.

The bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
the Baltimore Manual Labor School,

Being upon a second reading,

Mr. Chaisty submitted the following amendment :

Section 1, line 2, strike out the word "ten" and insert the
word "five."
