The bill entitled an Act to authorize Aurelia A. Long and
Wm. H. Roach., of Somerset county, to settle their guardians'
accounts as temporary guardians to Alexander Long, of said
county,

Was read a second time and ordered to be en grossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal certain portions of the
Act of 1860, chapter 303, of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, relating to the Columbia and Port Deposit Rail Road
Company,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

On motion of Mr. Robb,

Said bill was then ordered to be printed, and
Made the order of the day for Tuesday, March 10.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 619 of Articie 4
of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled City of Baltimore,
sub-title Justices of the Peace and Constables, and to substi-
tute the following in lieu thereof,

Being upon a second reading.

Mr. McElroy submitted the following amendments :

Amend, by striking out the word "two," and inserting
"one," in the appointment of Constables to be made under
this Act for the 3d ward ; in the 12th ward, "one;" in the
10th ward, strike out the word "four ;" and insert "three."
In the 1st ward, strike out "four." and insert "two."

Which was adopted.
The bill as amended

Was then read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Mr. Latrobe, from the Committee on Ways and Means,
(the rules being suspended) submitted the following

MINORITY REPORT:

To the Honorable, the Speaker

and Members of the House of Delegates :

The undersigned, a Minority of the Committee on Ways
and Means, to which committee was referred a bill entitled
"an Act to repeal an Act passed at January session 1866,
chapter 101, entitled an Act to aid in the reorganization of
St. John's College," and which bill was reported favorably
