So it appeared that no person received a majority of all the
votes cast by the House of Delegates.

The Secretary of the Senate delivered the Senate bill en-
titled an Act to prescribe the number of names to be selected
and placed in the box from which, a panel of jurors shall be
drawn for Wicomico county.

Which was read a first time.

On motion of Mr. Stewart, of Dorchester,
The rules were suspended, and

The bill wvas not referred to the appropriate committee.

Mr. Stewart, of Dorchester, moved that the bill be read a
second time this day, in accordance with section 27, Article
3, of the Constitution.
