JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 29,

Adamstown to Greenfield Mills, passed by the General
Assembly of Maryland at its January session in the year
1860, chapter 323.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Robb, Chairman of a select committee, reported favor-
ably

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 18 of Article 73
of the Public General Laws, entitled " Penitentiary," and
to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Percy, Chairman of a select committee, reported fa-
vorably

A hill entitled an Act to incorporate the town of Vienna,
in Dorchester county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Slingluff, Chairman of a select committee, reported
favorably

A bill entitled an Act requiring the County Commission-
ers of Baltimore and Carroll counties to levy a sum of money
to build a bridge across the North Branch of the Patapsco
River, on the Lime Kiln Road.

Which was read a first time.

The joint resolutions of thanks to the President and ladies
of the Southern Relief Association of Maryland,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows :
