The bill entitled an Act to require the railroad companies
of this State to provide a car or cars for the exclusive use of
the colored people of this State, and to amend Article 77 of
the Code of Public General Laws of the State, entitled "Rail
Roads,"
Was read a third time.
Mr. Bowlus moved to strike out the enacting clause of the
bill.
Mr. Jones moved to recommit the bill to the Committee
on Colored Population.
The question being upon concurring in the motion,
