The bill entitled an Act to further amend the charter of
the Associated Firemens Insurance Company of the city of
Baltimore.

The Bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments, section 612 of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, entitled "City of Baltimore," and relating to the se-
lection of talesmen for the several courts of said city,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 40, Article 9, of
the Public Local Laws of Charles county, entitled "elections,"
and relating to Election Districts, and to enact the following
in lieu thereof,

Being upon a second reading,

Mr. Chapman submitted the following amendment:

In line 7, sub-section 1, amend by inserting the following
names, Wm. B, Stone, Joseph Price, Samuel Cox, William
Boswell, F. M. Lancaster, Noel B. Hannon, P. A. Sasscer,
•Geo. D. Mudd and P. R. Wall.

Which was adopted.
The bill as amended

Was then read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Chesnut Summit
Avenue Company,

Being upon a second reading,

On motion of Mr. Nicolai,
Was referred to the Baltimore county delegation.

On motion of Mr. Herbert,
The rules were suspended,

And the House proceeded to the consideration of bills en-
titled to a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Mutual Horse
Thief Detective and Live Stock Insurance Company, of Wash-
ington county,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as
