On motion of Mr. Seibert,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
report a bill to incorporate the Mechanics' Loan and Savings
Institution of Clearspring, Md.

On motion of Mr. McElroy,

Leave was granted to Messrs. McElroy, Latrobe, Sanner,
Robb, Markland, Bond, of Baltimore city, and Baltimore
county delegations, to introduce a bill entitled an Act to pro-
vide for the extention of the limits of Baltimore city.

On motion of Mr. Maynard,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to intro-
duce a bill to refund to John E. Bromwell certain State taxes
erroneously paid in the Treasury.

On motion of Mr. Poteet,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Pensions to in-
troduce a bill to provide a pension for the widow of Samuel
Robinson, a soldier of the war of 1812.

Also,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Pensions to intro-
duce a bill providing a pension for Jacob Hall; a soldier of
the war of 1812.

On motion of Mr. Wentz,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to repeal section 619 of the Public Local
Laws, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Justices of the
Peace and Constables," and re-enact the same with amend-
ments, so as to give two additional constables to the second
ward.

On motion of Mr. Corbin,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Corbin, Horsey and Hol-

loway, to introduce a bill to add an additional section to
Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Somerset
county, relating to the compensation of Jurors for said
county.

Mr. Blake submitted the following

JOINT RESOLUTIONS:

WHEREAS, the following resolution has been presented for
consideration to the Legislature of the State of Pennsylvania,
to wit:

"Resolved, That the people of Pennsylvania, being
