Said bill was then sent to the Senate.

The House then took up for consideration the next order
of the day, being the unfavorable report of the Committee on
Education, upon

The bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed at Janu-
ary session, 1866, chapter 101, entitled an Act to aid in the
organization of St. John's College.

The question being upon the adoption of the report,

Mr. Mullin moved that the further consideration thereof
be postponed, and the report be made the order of the day
for Friday., 6th March.

Decided in the negative.

Mr. Coad moved that the further consideration thereof be
postponed, and the report be made the order of the day for
Wednesday, 26th instant.

Decided in the negative.

Mr. Iglehart moved that the further consideration thereof
be postponed, and the report be made the order of the day for
Thursday, 27th inst.

Decided in the negative.

Mr. Mullin moved that the further consideration thereof be
postponed, and the report be made the order of the day for
Tuesday, 25th instant.

Decided in the negative.

Mr. Syester moved that the bill reported upon unfavorably
by the Committee be substituted for the report.
