John S. Biddison, Esq., of Baltimore County, was elected
temporary Chairman.

Mr, Syester submitted a preamble and resolution relative
to the distribution of the offices of the House,

Which the Chair decided to he not in order.

Mr. Coudy appealed from the decision of the Chair.

The question being,

"Shall the decision of the Chair be sustained ?"

It was decided in the affirmative.
On motion of Mr. Legg.

The House adjourned until to-morrow at 12 o'clock.
