uniformed volunteer companies, of universities, colleges, academies, hospitals or asylums ; provi- ded such corporations are located in this State, and that the property which they possess or ac- quire is located therein.
Sec. 15 — Class 2. For the creation and mainte- nance of mechanics' institutes, co-operative stores or societies, libraries public reading or lecture rooms, medical societies, public hotels, public baths, dairy associations and agricultural or hor- ticultural societies, fairs or exhibitions, and com- panies for the packing of fruits, vegetables and other things ; provided such corporations are loca- ted in this State, and the property they possess or acquire is located therein. Sec. 16 — Class 3. For buying, selling, mortga- ging, leasing, improving, disposing of, or other- wise dealing with land in this State, or partly in this State and partly beyond this State, and for the procuring, preparing for market, transporta- tion and selling of lumber, timber, wood or other products of land. Sec. 17 — Class 4. For the formation of fire, life, marine, accident and cattle, and all live stock and other kinds of insurance companies ; provided, they shall have their principal office in this State.	For fire, life, marine, &c.
Sec. 18 — Class 5. For the formation of home- stead or building associations, or associations for the loan of money on real or personal property, and for the incprporation of associations of Odd Fellows, Free and Accepted Masons, Sons of Tem- perance, Good Templars or other kindred associa- tions : provided that the property owned or ac- quired by such corporation is located in this State, and for forming, laying out and maintaining cem- eteries in this State.	Homestead or building associations.
Sec. 19 — Class 6. For carrying on in this State any kind of manufacturing, ship-building, me- chanical, industrial or chemical business, and for the sale, transportation, or other disposition of the products thereof.	Manufactu- ring, &c.
