which to enter said sales, specifying the number
of each hogshead and the name of the owner and
the purchaser, and that one of said Auctioneers

 

shall act as a clerk to make the said entries, and
that the said Auctioneers shall receive as a full
compensation for their services the sum of twenty-
five cents for each hogshead of tobacco sold by
them, to be paid by the owner thereof; and that
said Auctioneers, with the approval of the Inspec-
tors, shall make such regulations and rules for
the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this
Act in relation to such sales as they may deem
necessary, which shall not be inconsistent with
the provisions of this Act.

Sec. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 459.

AN ACT entitled An Act to incorporate the town
of Bloomington, in Allegany county.

 

SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the citizens of the town of
Bloomington, in Allegany county, shall be and are
hereby constituted and made a body corporate by the
name of the Commissioners of Bloomington, with
all the privileges of a body corporate, and to have
a common seal and perpetual succession.

Corporation.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the male white
citizens of Bloomington, aforesaid, of the age of
twenty-one years and upwards, being citizens of
the United States, who have resided in said town
for and during six months next preceding the first
Monday in May next, eighteen hundred and sixty-
eight, may, on that day, at the place designated by
the three judges appointed as hereinafter provided,
in said town, and on the first Monday in June, in
each and every year thereafter, at such houses as
