Mr. Lcgg, (the rules being suspended,) presented the pe-
tition of R. E. Federman, A. J. Collins, and 26 other citi-
zens, asking for the closing of a road that runs through the
farm of Wm. F. Parrott, of Queen Anne's county.

Which was read and referred to Messrs. Legg, Sudler and
Hubbard.

Mr. Worthington, (the rules being suspended,) presented
the petition of 65 citizens of Frederick and Carroll counties
against changing the route of the Frederick and Pennsyl-
vania Rail Road Company.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Corpo-
rations.

Mr. Holmes, (the rules being suspended,) presented the
petition of John A. Barnes, and other citizens of Baltimore
City and County, praying the Legislature not to repeal the
Funeral Law, whereby carriages going to and returning
from funerals are exempted from the payment of tolls.

Which was read and referred to the Baltimore County
delegation.

Mr. Herbert, (the rules being suspended,) submitted the
following order :

Ordered, That Ambrose Ingham, door-keeper, have leave
of absence until Tuesday.
Which was adopted.

Mr. Williams, (the rules being suspended;) submitted the
following order :

Ordered, That when this House adjourns, it stands ad-
journed until Monday at 12 M.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Bond, of Baltimore city, moved a reconsideration of
the vote by which the order submitted by Mr. Williams was
adopted.

Mr. McElroy moved to lay the motion on the table.
On motion of Mr. Syester.

At 21/4 o'clock, P. M., the House adjourned until Monday
next, at 12 o'clock M.
