tions, depots, sidings, or any of its works, without
just compensation, as agreed by the said parties,
or awarded by the jury, being first paid or tender-
ed to the party entitled to such compensation, and
that the Sheriff shall keep the said jury together
for a reasonable time until they shall agree upon
and sign and seal the said inquisition, and in case
it shall so happen that the jury cannot agree after
being kept together as aforesaid, the Sheriff may,
in his discretion, discharge the said jury, and with-
out any further warrant from a Justice of the Peace
shall within five days thereafter, summon another
jury of twenty disinterested persons as aforesaid,
and the same proceedings shall be had in all re-
spects as is hereinbefore provided, and in case of a
second or other disagreement of the jury, the same
proceedings shall be had until a verdict or inqui-

sition shall be made and returned, as aforesaid,
and that this Act shall take effect from the date
of its passage.

AN ACT to incorporate the Mechanics' Loan and
Savings Institute of Clear Spring, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That A . J. Kershner, John Feidt,
William Knepper, G. A. Warner, Saml. Seibert,
William Cashiva, Saml. Bovey, Denton Jacques,
George L. Jacques, H. F. Perry, David Lesher,
John Sosey, F, G. Baswel, John Cowton, William
D. Cowton, William. T. Hassett and Otho K. Bo-
vey, and all and every person who are or shall be-
come members of the Mechanics' Loan and Saving
Institute in the manner hereinafter mentioned,
shall be and are hereby created and made a body
corporate by the name and style of the Mechanics'
Loan and Saving Institute, which institution shall
