	CHAPTER 323.
	AN ACT to amend an Act, passed at Session of the Gfeneral Assembly of Maryland, held in the year eighteen hundred and sixty, entitled "An Act to incorporate the Bare Hill Mining Com- pany."
Name.	SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly Maryland, That the corporate name and title of the said Corporation be altered to that of the " Bare Hill Mining and Smelting Company of Baltimore."
Increase cap- ital stock.	Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Cor- poration (anything in the Act to which this is an amendment to the contrary notwithstanding) shall be privileged, and have the right and authority at any time after the passage of this amendment, to increase and augment the capital stock of the said corporation, to any sum not exceeding the sum of one million dollars.
Powers and privileges.	Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That said Corporation shall have all powers and privileges to purchase, hold or receive, real or personal estate, and erect thereupon such buildings and machinery, pur- chase and sell ores and materials necessary or ap- purtenant to mining and smelting operations, and to conduct and carry on the business or trade of smelting ores and the disposition of the same.
Rights and privileges.	Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That any provisions in the original Act, to which this is a Supplement, inconsistent or contrary to the rights and privileges hereby granted, be and the same are hereby re- pealed, and that all contracts or agreements, made by the said Corporation, under its original corpor- ate name, shall not be altered or in any wise af- fected or changed by the alteration of the corpor- ate name of the said Corporation, under Section first, of this amendment.
