Taxes, and relating to the appointment of, and the bonds

Was ordered to be engrossed for a third reading,

Was reconsidered.

The bill then being upon a second reading.
On motion of Mr. Ghaisty,

The vote by which the amendment to sub-section 75 was
adopted, striking out the word "two," and inserting the
words " three-fourths of one,"

Was reconsidered.

The question then recurring on the adoption of the amend-
ment it was rejected.

On motion of Mr. Pentland,

The bill was recommitted to the Committee on Ways and

Means.

Mr. Colton moved that the House do now adjourn until to-
morrow morning, at 11 o'clock.

Mr. Mullin moved that the House do now adjourn until to-
morrow, at 12 o'clock, noon.

The question being upon the motion submitted by Mr.
Mullin. it was decided in the negative.

Mr. Wentz moved that the House do now adjourn until to-
