CHAPTER 275.
AN ACT to appoint a visitor to the Maryland Hos-
pital for Wicomico County.
|
 
|
|
WHEREAS, the Act of incorporation of the Mary-
land Hospital appointed eleven visitors for Balti-
more city and one visitor for each county then con-
stituted ; and whereas the said Act authorized the
Board to fill all vacancies but did not authorize
them to make original appointments for new
counties ; and whereas the County of Wicomico
has been formed since the said Act of incorpora-
tion, therefor,

Preamble.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Dr. Frances M. Siemens of
Wicomico County be and he is hereby appointed a
visitor of the Maryland Hospital for said county,
and that any vacancy which may happen in said
Board of Visitors by death, resignation or other
disqualification, his successor shall be appointed
as provided for in the original Act of incorporation.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 276.
AN ACT to repeal Section one hundred and eighty-
nine of Article eight of the Public Local Laws
for Cecil County, entitled "Sheriff," and to re-
enact the same as follows :

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Section one hundred and eighty-
nine of Article eight of the Public Local Laws for
Cecil County, entitled "Sheriff," be and the same
is hereby repealed and re-enacted as follows : The
