for a third reading.

Also,

Favorably, the joint resolution authorizing the State Li-
brarian to furnish Judges Martin. Tuck, Mason, Bowie,
Weisel and Crane, with copies of the decisions of the Court
of Appeals.

Said resolution being upon a second rending,

Mr. Chapman submitted the following amendment:

Insert after the word "Weisel" the word "Stone."

Which was adopted.

The resolution as amended,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

Mr. Mitchell, Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary,
reported unfavorably a bill entitled an Act to authorize Francis
A. Posey, a minor of Prince George's county, to receive from
any person now acting as his guardian, all personal property
belonging to him, and to collect rent due him from his real
estate, to take and give receipts concerning the same, and
generally to act in all respects in regard to his real and per-
sonal property, as though he were of full age.

The report was adopted.

Mr. Nelson, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably a bill entitled an Act to allow additional compen-
sation to the Sheriff of Harford county, for boarding inmates
of the jail of said county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Hull, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably a bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
Commissioners of Allegany county, to levy a sum. of money
to aid in the construction of a bridge across the Potomac
River at Western Port in Allegany county.

Whiich was read a first time.

Mr. Richards, Chairman of a Select Committee, submitted
the following

REPORT:

leave to report that they have examined into the matter with
