	CHAPTER 260. AN ACT to add an additional Section to Article twenty, of the Public Local Laws for Talbot County and town of St. Michael's, to be entitled " Harbors and Harbor Masters."
Harbor mas- ter.	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the Commissioners of the town of St. Michael's, in Talbot County, are hereby au- thorized and empowered to appoint a suitable per- son to act as Harbor Master, and to designate his duties and provide for his compensation.
In force.	Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from the date of its passage. Approved March 30, 1868.

CHAPTER 261. AN ACT to authorize the Commissioners of Anne Arundel County to contribute one thousand dol- lars toward the purchase of the Bridge on the Patapsco River, at Elkridge Landing.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County be and they are hereby au- thorized, if in their judgment they deem it expe- dient, to contribute one thousand dollars to aid the Commissioners of Baltimore and Howard Counties in the purchase and construction of a bridge on the Patapsco River, at Elkridge Landing, with a view to making the same a free bridge thereafter. Approved March 30, 1868.
