dred and sixty, bequeathed to the Trustees of the
Presbyterian Church of Hagerstown, in said
County of Washington, the sum of five thousand
dollars for certain purposes connected with the
repair and management of the property of said
Church, and with certain conditions thereunto an -
nexed, all of which are fully set forth in the said
last will and testament ; therefore,

Sanction of
Legislature.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the sanction and consent of the
General Assembly of Maryland be, and the same
is hereby given to the said bequest.
|
In force.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect and go into operation from the date of
its passage.

CHAPTER 218.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the County
Commissioners of Allegany County to levy a
certain sum of money for Daniel Duncan, late
Sheriff of Allegany County.
|
Annual levy.
|
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the County Commissioners of
Allegany County, at their next annual levy, be,
and they are hereby authorized and empowered to
levy for Daniel Duncan, late Sheriff of Allegany
County, the sum of one hundred dollars, for ser-
vices rendered by him while Sheriff of said
County.

In force.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
