hereby authorized and required to correct the errors
in the distribution of the " Free School Fund,"
accruing under the Acts of eighteen hundred and
thirteen and eighteen hundred and sixteen, for the
period of sixteen years, from the year eighteen
hundred and fifty-two to the year eighteen hundred
and sixty-seven, inclusive, by paying to Baltimore
City and to Baltimore County, each, the sum of
eight thousand four hundred and sixty-three dol-
lars and thirty-eight and a half cents, ($8,463.381/2)
being the amounts of which they have been de-
prived by the errors in the distribution of said
" Free School Fund," as will fully appear on the
books and accounts of the Comptroller.

Appropria-
tion.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the sum of six-
teen thousand nine hundred and twenty-six dol-
lars and seventy-seven cents ($16,926.77) be and
the same is hereby appropriated for the purpose
aforesaid, out of any money in the Treasury not
otherwise appropriated.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer,
upon the warrant of the Comptroller, shall pay to
the Treasurers of the Boards of School of Balti-
more City and Baltimore County each the sum of
eight thousand four hundred and sixty-three dol-
lars and thirty-eight and a half cents, ($8.463.381/2)
to be applied as other school funds are now ap-
plied.

Apportion.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That the Comptroller
be and he is hereby instructed and required in the
future distribution of the "Free School Fund,"
herein aforementioned, to apportion to Baltimore
City a like and equal share with each county of
the State.

In force.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
