lie interests, allowing to the landholders through
whose lands it may pass, such damages as they
may deem just. The Commissioners, and such

 

persons as they may employ in the course of their
duties, shall be entitled to like compensation with
examiners and their employees, under the pro-
visions of the Code relating to County Roads, and
they shall report a plat of said Road, if they shall
determine to locate and lay out the same, together
with the reasons for their determination, and a
statement of the damages allowed to each land-
holder, and of their expenses and of the probable
cost of opening said Road to the County Commis-
sioners for Frederick and Carroll Counties respec-

tively, and the said County Commissioners may
approve and confirm or reject the same, and in
case the same shall be confirmed by the County
Commissioners of both said counties, the damages,
costs and expenses of so much thereof as lies in
Frederick County, shall be levied on the assessable
property of said county, and of so much thereof
as lies in Carroll County, on the assessable proper-
ty of that county, and after said report of said
Commissioners shall have been confirmed as afore-
said, but not otherwise, the said road may be
opened, and remain a public road, in like manner,
and to like effect with all other public roads in
said counties respectively.

CHAPTER 190.

AN ACT to incorporate the Town of Vienna, in
Dorchester County.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the citizens of the Town of
Vienna, in Dorchester County, are a body corpor-
ate, by the name of the Commissioners of the
Town of Vienna, and by that name may sue and
be sued, and have and use a common seal.
