CHAPTER 172.
AN ACT to repeal the ninth Section of the Act
passed January session, eighteen hundred and
sixty-seven, entitled "An Act to incorporate the
Annapolis Fruit and Oyster Packing Company/ '
and to re-enact the same to read as follows :

Repealed and
re-enacted.
|
SECTION 1 . Se it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the ninth Section of the Act
passed January session, eighteen hundred and
sixty-seven, entitled an Act to incorporate the An-
napolis Fruit and Oyster Packing Company, be and
the same is hereby repealed, and re-enacted to read
as follows :

Vacancy.
|
Sec. 9. And be it enacted, That in case any of
the above mentioned Commissioners or Directors
shall resign or refuse to serve, the remaining mem-
ber or members shall be and are hereby author-
ized to fill the vacancy.
|
In force and
reservation.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage, and the
General Assembly reserves the right to alter,
amend or repeal this Act at pleasure.

CHAPTER 173.
AN ACT to repeal Section seventeen Article fifty-
three, of the Code of Public General Laws, en-
titled " Landlord and Tenant," exempting cer-
tain articles from distress for rent, and to re-
enact the same so as to read as follows :

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
