any part of the funds deposited to any Director of
said corporation.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That said corporation
shall be capable of receiving from any person or
persons any deposit or deposits of money, and that
all monies received, or to be received, shall be
vested in public stocks or other securities, and such
interest be allowed to the depositors thereof as may
from time to time be directed or provided for by
the by-laws of said corporation, the surplus profits
to be divided every three years among the deposi-
tors in such manner as the Directors for the time
being may think proper. The stockholders in
said bank or banking institutiou shall be liable to
the amount of their respective share or shares of
stock in said bank or banking institution for all
its debts and liabilities upon note or notes, bill or
bills, or otherwise. The books, papers and ac-
counts of said bank or banking institution shall
be open to inspection under such regulations as
may be prescribed by law.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That the Directors
of said corporation or a majority of those attend-
ing at any meeting of the Board may elect by
ballot any other person or persons as members of
the Workingmens' Savings Bank of Baltimore.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That it is hereby made
imperative that the above corporation shall annual-
ly appoint a committee of not less than five citizens
of the city of Baltimore, who shall make a report
of the affairs of said institution to be published in
at least two daily papers in Baltimore.

Sec. 6. And be it enacted, That the Legislature
hereby reserves to itself the right to alter or amend
this Act of Incorporation at pleasure.
