A bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act of 1867, chapter 164,
entitled an Act to provide for the payment of costs incurred
before Justices of the Peace, before appeal shall be heard
front their decision.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize Betsy A. White, guar-
dian, to settle with her ward, David A. White, of Wicomico
county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Syester, Chairman of the Committee on Ways and
Means, reported favorably

A bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to be
paid to John de la Camp, in compensation for services in
completing the maps of surveys, heretofore made by commis-
sioners appointed by the Act of 1856, chapter 220, to trace
and define the boundary lines between Maryland and Vir-
ginia.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Colton, Chairman of the Committee on Claims, re-
ported favorably the Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize
and direct the Treasurer to pay Mrs. Frances Miller a sum of
money due William R. Miller, deceased, for per diem and
mileage as a member of the Legislature of Maryland, at the
session of 1861.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

Also,

Favorably, the Senate bill entitled an Act to refund to
Lewis Tydings and Henry Tydings, of Anne Arundel
county, certain sums of money erroneously paid into the
Treasury.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay Benjamin Standiford, Tax Collector of Harford
county, for over-payment into the Treasury for the year
1865.
