CHAPTER 98.
AN ACT to promote, the efficiency of the Orphans'
Court of Baltimore County.
|
|
Time of
meeting.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Orphans7 Court of Balti-
more County shall meet on Tuesday and Wednes-
day of each week at ten o'clock A. M., and con-
tinue their sessions, for such length of time and
on such days as in their judgment the public in-
terests requires them to do.

tion,
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That there shall be
allowed the said Judges the sum of five cents per
mile for each mile traveled by them in going to
and returning from the said sessions of the Or-
phans' Court, to be paid by the County Commis-
sioners of Baltimore County, on the certificate of
the Register of Wills for said county.

Repeal.
|
Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That all Acts or
parts of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of
this Act be and the same is hereby repealed.

In force.
|
Sec. 4. And be it enacted. That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 99.
AN ACT to repeal Sections four, five, six, seven
and eight of Article twenty of the Code of
Public Local Laws for Talbot County, entitled
"Alms House' and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Repealed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Sections four, five, six, seven
and eight of Article twenty of the Code of Public
Local Laws for Talbot County be, and the same
are hereby) repealed, and the following Sections
enacted iu lieu thereof :
