1868.] OF THE SENATE. 721 Mr. Grove, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings, reported favorably House bill entitled an Act to declare the sanction of the General Assembly of Maryland to the purchase by St. Paul's Parish, in Prince George's county, of a parcel of land in said county not exceeding in quantity ten acres. Which was read the second time. Also, reported favorably House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 17 of Article 30 of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled Crimes and Punishments, under the head of Bribery, and to re-enact the same with amendments. Which was read the second time. House bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled Somer- set county, so as to provide the manner and time for the ap- pointment and the terms of office of the Supervisors of Roads in said county, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Hammond, Browne, Lee, Biggs, Maddox, Clarke, Miller, Carroll, Malone, Fields, Spates, Grove, Walsh, Hyland, Welch—16. NEGATIVE—None.
