542 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 18, EVENING SESSION. WEDNESDAY, March 18th, 8 o'clock, P. M. The Senate met pursuant to adjournment. Present at roll call: Messrs. President, Browne, Biggs, Brewer, Earle, Fields, Grove, Hyland, Hammond, Malone, Parker, of Calvert, Spates, Snyder,Smith, Walsh, Welch—17. House bill entitled an Act to pay Elizabeth C. Dorsey, of Frederick county, widow of Vachel W. Dorsey, who was a soldier of the war of 1812, from the State of Maryland, an annual pension of eighty dollars during her natural life. Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays. as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Hyland, Browne, Hammond, Biggs, Malone, Brewer, Parker, of Calvert, Earle, Spates, Fields, Snyder, Grove, Smith, Henkle, Welch—16. NEGATIVE—None. The bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. Mr. Browne, from the Committee on Corporations, re- ported Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Triadelphia Turnpike Company. Which was read the first time. Senate bill entitled an Act relating to goods, wares and merchandize in store and in transit, and to make receipt and bills of lading therefor negotiable, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE.
