House bill entitled an Act to add to the 4th Article of the Code of Public Local Laws the following sections empower- ing the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to contract, open, enlarge or straighten sewers within the limits of the city, and to provide the means for paying the same, and com- pensation for any damage to property-holders caused by the construction, opening, enlarging or straightening of any sewer within the limits of the city, Was read a third time, and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Henkle, Browne, Hyland, Biggs, Kimmel, Brewer, Malone, Clarke, Snyner, Denson, Walsh, Earle, Welch—15. Fields, NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Town of Vienna, in Dorchester county, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as fol- lows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. House bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act entitled an Act to add a new section to Article 12 of the Code of Local Laws for Harford county, entitled "Schools," relating to the Har- ford county Academy, and to the Cokesbury or Abingdon Aca- demy, and to re-enact the same with an amendment, restor- ing the State donation to the Harford county Academy. |
