The bill entitled an Act for the relief of Nathaniel Duke,
George W. Do well and Thomas B. Billingsley,

Being upon a third reading,

Mr. Bond, of Calvert, (by unanimous consent,) submitted
the following amendment:

Section 1. Insert the words, the County Commissioners of
Calvert county are hereby authorized to release, before the
word "Nathaniel," in 2d line, and strike out the words be
and they are hereby released," in 3d line.

Strike out the word " Calvert," in 4th lines and insert
"said."

Which was adopted.

The bill as amended was ordered to be engrossed, and hav-
ing been engrossed, was then read a third time and passed
by yeas and nays as follows :
