The bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and direct the
Treasurer to pay to Mrs. Frances Miller a sum of money due
Wm. E. Miller, deceased, for per diem and mileage as a
member of the Legislature of Mary land at the session of 1861,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas aad nays as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Brewer, Spates,
Clarke, Snyder,
Fields, Smith,
Henkle, Walsh,
Hyland, Welch—14

NEGATIVE—None.
The bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.

Mr. Browne, from Committee on Agriculture, reported
Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the appointment of
a Measurer of Charcoal for Baltimore city, from the State at
large,

Was read the first time.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate a company to
construct a turnpike road from Hagerstown to Cearfoss'
cross roads, in Washington county,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays
as follows :

The hill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 153, passed
January session, 1867, entitled an Act to add an additional
section to Article 30 of the Code of Public General Laws,
relating to Crimes and Punishments, and to re-enact the
same with amendments,
