Said bill was then returned to the Senate.
The Secretary of the Senate returned the Senate bill en-
titled an Act to repeal the Act of 1867, chapter 290, entitled
an Act to add a new Article to the Code of Public General
Laws, to be entitled Public Roads, and to re-enact the follow-
ing sections in lieu thereof with proposed amendments to the
House amendments adopted by them.
Amendments proposed.
Section 1, line 4, after the word 'road' insert, except so
far as said Act relates to Somerset county.
Amend title by inserting after the word 'roads' in line 3,
the words 'except so far as said Act relates to Somerset
county.
