The Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the col-
lection of Taxes in Baltimore county.

Said bill being upon a second reading,

Mr. Poteet submitted the following amendment :

Strike out sections 66 and 67, and substitute the following
in lieu thereof:

And be it enacted, That no provisions of this Act shall
take effect until the first Tuesday of May, in the year 18G9.

Which was adopted.
