day, the House proceeded to the consideration of the bill
entitled an Act to provide a system of education for Wash-
ington county.

The bill was indefinitely postponed.
The House proceeded to the consideration of the next order
of the day,
Being the bill entitled an Act to amend certain portions
of the Act entitled an Act to incorporate the Cecil and Har-
ford counties Boom Company, passed at the January session,
1867, chapter 195, and to require said company to remove
certain and all obstructions placed by the said company in
the Susquehannah River, in violation of their charter,
Said bill was again rejected for want of a constitutional
majority by yeas and nays as follows :
