The question then recurring upon the adoption of the
title,

Mr. Williams submitted the following amendment :

Strike out all after the word 'to' in first line, and insert,
add new sections to the Code of Public Local Laws for Balti-
more city, Article 4, under the head of Tobacco, as amended
and re-amended by the Acts of Assembly of 1864, chapter
346 ; 1865, chapter 194 ; and 1867, chapter 360.

Which was adopted.

The title as amended was then adopted.

Said bill was then sent to the Senate.

The bill entitled an Act to appoint a commission of three
persons to meet a like number of persons appointed by the
State of Virginia, to settle and adjust the boundary line on
the eastern shore'of the Chesapeake Bay, between the State
of Virginia and Maryland,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading, and
