1192 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 28,.

allowed six dollars per day during the session of the Legis-
lature upon condition they remain and finish engrossing the
hills passed by this Legislature without any extra charges.

Which was read.

Mr. Stewart, of Dorchester, submitted the following amend-
ment :

Insert after the word " clerks," in the first line, the words
" and all other officers."

Which was rejected.

The question then recurring upon the adoption of the order.

On motion of Mr. Wenner,
The order was laid on the table.

Mr. Mitchell, chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary,
reported favorably the

Senate bill entitled an Act to empower the present or future
vestry of Zion Parish, in Prince George's county, to sell and
convey St. Mark's Church, commonly called Paint Chapel.

Which was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Also, the

Senate bill entitled an act to continue in force an Act en-
titled an Act to regulate and make uniform the fees of con-
stables, passed January session, 1865, chapter 67.

Which was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed.
for a third reading.

Also, the

Senate bill entitled an Act to sanction a grant of land from
the Rev. John Chew to St. Paul's Parish, in Prince George's
county.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for giving effect
to informal or invalid deeds.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2 of an Act
passed March 21, 1867, chapter 329, entitled an Act to pro-
vide for the selection, drawing and summoning of jurors in
the several counties, and prescribing their qualification, and
re-enact the same with amendments.
