The vote by which the above bill was rejected,
Was reconsidered.
The question then recurring upon the passage of the hill,

Mr. Montague, by (unanimous consent,) submitted the fol-
lowing amendments :

Section 1, strike out in lines 1 and 2, the words "said com-
panies,,' and insert the words Frederick Turnpike Com-
pany.

Strike out in line 3, the words "the several turnpike
roads," and insert the words and the portion of their road
located in Baltimore county.

The bill, as amended, was then read and passed by yeas
