The hill entitled an Act to refund to James Ensor, of Bal-
timore city, the sum of fifty dollars erroneously paid into
the Treasury of the State.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Claims.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act to repeal the Act
of 1865, chapter 174, entitled an Act relating to the regis-
tration of the voters of the State, and to enact other provi-
sions relating to the registration of voters in lieu thereof,
chapter 336, passed March the 13th, 1867, and to enact
other provisions relating to the registration of voters in lieu
thereof.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Elections.

Also, returned the following bill endorsed, "Passed by
yeas and nays :"

The bill entitled an Act supplementary and amendatory
of an Act passed at this session, entitled an Act to amend
the charter of the Cumberland and Pennsylvania Rail Road
Company, passed at January session, 1849, chapter 469.

Also, returned the following bills severally endorsed, re-
ported unfavorably upon, and report adopted.

The bill entitled an Act to refund to Charles H. Mitchum,
a sum of money erroneously paid.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to require all local insurance
companies doing business in the city of Baltimore, to make
annual statements of their condition to the Comptroller of
the Treasury.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to repeal, amend and re-enact
section 4, chapter 152, of an Act passed March 21, 1867,
entitled an Act to appropriate $100,000 for the relief of the
destitute people in the States wasted by civil war.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to require the railroad companies of
this State to provide a car or cars for the exclusive use of the
colored people of this State, and to amend Article 17, of the
Code of Public General Laws of the State, entitled "Rail-
roads."
