SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the commissioners aforesaid,
when they shall have completed their valuation as aforesaid,
and done all other things required of them by this law, shall
make out a copy of their proceedings, setting forth in the same,
a full description of the land by them valued, for the establish-
ment of the light-house, or light-houses as aforesaid; together
with the road to the same, and all other matter and things con-
nected with the said valuation, and the performance of the
duties assigned to them by this act, and to the said copy fairly
written out, they shall subscribe their names, and thereto set
their seals, and they shall deposite the same in the office of the
clerk of the county court, as the case may be, and the clerk of
the said court, shall preserve a record of the said proceedings,
for the recording of which, he shall be entitled to the same fee,
which he receives for other records, to be paid by the parties.

Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the act passed at December session, in the year eighteen hun-
dred and eighteen, entitled, an act for settling the western
limits of this state, and the dividing line and boundary between
this state and the commonwealth of Virginia, be, and the same
is hereby repealed.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, any certificate or
certificates of deposite issued by and with the authority of any
banking institution in this state, shall be, and the same is

hereby declared to be a good and sufficient tender in law, and
set off by and on the part of the holder of the said certificate
or certificates, for the full value thereof against the bank or
banks which shall have caused the said certificate or certificates
to have been issued, any law or usage to the contrary in any
wise notwithstanding.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That each and every of the said
institutions shall be, and they are hereby required to receive
