to deprive the creditor or creditors of any insolvent debtor of the
right of filing allegations at any time within two years from the
time of discharge.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That all deeds, conveyances,
transfers, assignment or sales, of any property, real, personal or
mixed, or of any debts, rights or claims, to any creditor or
creditors, security or securities, which have been or shall hereaf-
ter be made, by any person, with a view or under an expecta-
tion of being or becoming an insolvent debtor, and with an
intent thereby to give an undue and improper preference to such
creditor or creditors, security or securities, shall be absolutely
null and void, and the title to property or claims so attempted
to be conveyed, transferred, assigned or sold, shall vest in the
trustee or trustees of such insolvent debtors, as effectually as
any property specified in the schedule of such insolvent debtor ;

Proviso.

Provided however, that no insolvent debtor shall be precluded
from the benefit of the insolvent laws on account of any
such deeds, conveyances, transfers, assignments, or sales as
aforesaid.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the said commissioners,
(any two of whom shall be competent to act) shall be entitled to
receive for their services such compensation as the judges of
Baltimore county court may deem to be reasonable and proper,
which said compensation shall be paid by the petitioner, or his
trustee, as the said court may order and direct.

Repeal.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That all such parts of the act
passed at November session eighteen hundred and five,* entitled,
an act for the relief of sundry insolvent debtors, and the several
supplement thereto, as are inconsistent with, or repugaut to, the
provisions of this act, or any of them, be and the same are
hereby repealed.

tion and Regulation of the Courts of Common Law in this State, and
for the Administration of Justice theiein.

CHAPTER 256.
AN ACT for the distribution of a certain Fund for the purpose of establish-
ing Free Schools in the several Counties therein mentioned.
The uniformity in the details of this act, has been departed from by the
provisions of various local laws, which will be classed under the subdi-
vision of 'Public Local Law,* and can be found by a reference to the
counties to which they appropriately refer, under word 'Education.'
