AN ACT to ascertain the allowance of Members of the General Assembly, * *

* * and Electors of President and Vice-President of the United States.

Se it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That four

dollars and fifty cents be allowed to the president of the senate and

speaker of the house of delegates, and three dollars and fifty cents

to each member of the general assembly, * * * * and each

elector of president and vice-president of the United States, for

every day's attendance as such, for the purpose of defraying his

expenses, besides the accustomed itinerant charges and ferriages.
