BILLS OF EXCHANGE.

On all bills of exchange hereafter drawn in this state on any person,

corporation, &c. in a foreign country, and regularly protested, the

person .entitled thereto may recover

So much money as will purchase a good bill of the same time of pay-

ment, and on the same place, at the current exchange of such bill,
