county, the sum of two hundred and twenty-two dollars and
eighty-six cents, and refund or pay over the said amount to the
commissioners of Baltimore county, any other law to the con-
trary notwithstanding.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the treasurer of Baltimore
county is hereby authorized and required, at any time after
January first, eighteen hundred and forty-one, to draw ou the
commissioners of Carroll county for the aforesaid sum of two
hundred and twenty-two dollars and eighty-six cents, and ap-
ply the same to defray the expenses of said county as other
levies are now applied.

from Harford County, and lor other purposes. — 1839, ch. 265.

A further SUPPLEMENT to an ACT, entitled, an Act regulating damages in
cases of Suits for Trespass done by Stock, so far as relates to Baltimore
County.— 1839, ch. 315.

Application
of former
act.

Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the act to which this is a supplement, shall be construed to be
applicable to Baltimore county only, and not to any other
county in the state.

A further SUPPLEMENT to an ACT, entitled, an Act relating to Insolvent
Debtors in the City and Counly of Baltimore, passed December session,
eighteen hundred and sixteen, chapter two hundred and twenty-one.

CALVERT COUNTY.

AN ACT to exempt from Taxation the Property of the Protestant Episcopal
Churches in Calvert County.— 1839, ch. 310.

Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the property of the Protestant Episcopal churches in Calvert
county, be and the same are hereby released from the payment
of county taxes, any law to the contrary notwithstanding.
