PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY.

 

AN ACT, entitled, an Act supplementary to an Act, entitled, an Act for the
encouragement of Primary Schools in Prince George's County. — 1838,

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland

sioners shall have laid out the said school districts and made a
report of their said proceedings, the said levy court shall ap-

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the said trustees shall have
power to draw upon the orphans court of said county for such
sum or sums of money, parcel of said school fund, as may be
necessary to discharge all or any portion of said expenses,
and for the payment of the valuation of all such land as may
have been condemned by them for the purposes aforesaid,
which said drafts, the said orphans court shall order to be paid
to the persons repectively entitled thereto, and the said trus-

pleted, the said trustees shall have power to employ teachers
for the same, upon such terms as they, or a majority of them,
may deem proper, and it shall be the duty of the said levy
