SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That in all cases where writs ol
capias ad respondendum, attachments, capias ad satisfaciendum,
or fieri facias, issued by either of the said district courts, for
the recovery of a sum exceeding fifty dollars may be in the
hands of the sheriff, or any constable of said county, and not
returned, it shall be the duty of the said sheriff, or constable,
as the case may be, to return the same to the next succeeding
term of Cecil county court ; and the clerk of said court, shall
docket the same and such proceedings shall be had thereon, as
if the said process had originally issued from said county
court.

Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
from and after the passage of this act, each judge of the orphans
court of Cecil county, shall be, and he is hereby entitled to re-
ceive three dollars for every day's attendance and no more, any
thing in the original act to which this is a supplement to the
contrary notwithstanding.

Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
an alms and work-house shall be erected in Cecil county, at
such place as the trustees hereafter named, or a major part of
them, may direct; and, until money can be procured for
erecting the necessary buildings, the said trustees, or a major
part of them, may rent convenient buildings in said county for
the purpose aforesaid.
